A Word From Our Administrators:
Well, it's hard to believe that another school year has come and gone! With the close of a school year comes a mix of emotions. The most obvious emotion is the feeling of relief. EVERYBODY (parents, teachers, students, custodians, bus drivers, EAs, etc.) has worked so hard at their individual roles. You all deserve some time to sit down and breathe. There is also sadness. Over the course of a 180 day school year, bonds are forged. Trust is strengthened. Relationships are nurtured. It's difficult to see all of this hard work come to a stop. Most importantly, there is a sense of excitement! As I type this, there are conversations being had among teachers and administrators about the upcoming year! There is a sense of excitement. There is confidence around the foundation that has been laid for success at Harrah Elementary. There is already a "buzz" about what the 2016/2017 school year will hold for our students.
With all of that being said, we encourage you to take this time and relax, recharge and reflect. The school year will be here soon enough. Until then, we leave you with this thought. As you enjoy the summer days, be thinking about how you might finish the following statement, "The 2016/2017 school year at Harrah Elementary will be the year of: _______________".
Thank you for a fantastic 2015/2016 school year.
